Two years? Ya think? Sounds like wishful thinking to me. Or is that hope. If he really believed that though, would he have played the “Bush” card. Even the WaPo poll doesn’t put the blame on Bush anymore. Wall Street’s the new enemy. Time to change it up Mr Begala.

CNN’s Paul Begala defended MovOn.org’s right to run an ad criticizing his upcoming testimony to Congress about the troop “Surge” in Iraq. Paul explained that the General inserted himself into the political forum by writing a glowing op-ed about the Iraq war right before the ’04 election.

Paul, what do you think about what Alex just said … I mean the guys (64) days into the job, he’s got about a 64% approval rating and Alex is proposing that he’s a one term president. Look, how ’bout we give him what the American people gave him, a (4) year no-cut contract. And then, if he’s a miserable failure at the end of (4) years, we’ll do like we did w/Bush and re-elect him anyway!

Wolf never asks Begala directly if he was behind the Obama/Rush battle but instead lets Begala run free on Rush. But ahh, Nicolle Wallace, she puts its all in perspective much to Mr Begala’s dismay I think. Food Fight?
