HONOLULU (AP) — State officials say there’s no doubt Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said Friday she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.

Fukino says that no state official, including Republican Gov. Linda Lingle, ever instructed that Obama’s certificate be handled differently.

She says state law bars release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest.

Some Obama critics claim he was not born in the US.

Earlier Friday, a southwest Ohio magistrate rejected a challenge to Obama’s citizenship. Judges in Seattle and Philadelphia recently dismissed similar suits.

This “Obama isn’t an American” stuff is still the most bizarre crap I’ve ever read produced by anyone on a political blog.

The state was ambiguous. The conclusion was the writers.
They say they hold his original birth certificate. They don’t say what it says about the place of birth.
Given that Hawaiian law allows birth registration of children born elsewhere, this isn’t saying a whole lot.
Again, Obama could clear the matter up with a phone call releasing the document.
He won’t. Odd unless you are hiding something.

From what I’ve found out...the birth certificate says that Barack Obama was born in Honolulu Hawaii on August 4th, 1961 at 7:24 PM.

Seems he’s already cleared the matter up.

One thing bothers me....if Barack Obama wasn’t an American to begin with, how could he “renounce” citizenship during kindergarten?  Berg argues both points in his brief before the Supreme Court and I’m sure that the Supreme Court notices this “shotgun” approach.  It appeared to me that Berg couldn’t prove either point.

A “Certificate of Live Birth” - “COLB” - is not to be confused with a BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
And much information on the COLB is missing.

Why not just produce it for the American public and make the decryers look like idiots? If all is so kosher.

September ‘08 would have been perfect. Killed all these lawsuits, etc.

Americans had their say at the election.

But we were blindsided by a cheatin Obama-nation and the usual muddled middle that got their ‘news’ from Obama dash-BS networks and local tv news spouting the same one-note bias. Never mind that our own head of ticket tried to seem like Obama’s shadow, or Hillary’s mirror, and spent more time trying to pick a fuss with his own running mate during and after the campaign.

Not to worry, BG. As I said - buyer’s remorse set in very quickly with this guy. If the Court decides to act, I think a lot of people will shrug, say - shouldn’t have gamed the system, Barry - and will get on with the daily grind.

But Americans will be heard.

If you read back you will see that I said I beleaved him to be American. My question is just an IF question.

In my opinion IF he’s not American born he needs to go,what’s yours??

The problem is that anyone who can prepare a document on a computer, print it and pay a filing fee, can make any assertion in Court case even if it lacks any factual or legal basis.  I have read all the filings.  They have no factual/legal basis as all Courts ruling to date have found.  The end of the line will be the Supreme Court’s refusal to hear any of the appeals, writs, etc.  You can google these cases, read the pleadings as well as the commentaries by lawyers democrat and republican. who agree there is simply no basis for these suits.  You can also find out the background of the people filing the suits, from gadflys to people with serious mental problems.

Who opened the door to all these type lawsuits that bedevil the rest of America?  It’s only coming home ot roost - and who could deserve it more?

You have a problem with Just Rewards, and letting a man HAVE the fruit of his own labor that he worked so hard to earn?

BTW, are you by any wild chance trying to suggest that the situation with the lawsuits is NOT entirely within Barack Obama’s hands to control ANY TIME THAT HE CHOOSES TO DO SO, merely by presenting that one piece of documentation to any one of the courts involved at this point - that he CHOOSES to allow these various lawsuits to bedevil him, and keep such a silly issue in the news headlines - stealing his momentum and expending all his good faith and good will, not to mention any gravitas he may have SEEMED to have previously - and he chooses to NOT make it all disappear ASAP, just because he stubbornly refuses to “give credence” to his enemies by simply producing the document and allowing the courts to scold the lunatics unmercifully in his behalf?

How generous of him towards all his political enemies.
