LOL Pandora, people like you talk a big game but when the rubber hits the road all you can do is press a touchscreen to vote for the Republicans - agai

You’ll never end homosexuality, drug use, abortion, etc. using government as your tool for change.  It just doesn’t work.

Gotcha little nervous, there, pissant?  Was it the “FN” or the “carbine”???

LOL Azzhole, people like you don’t get that conservatives don’t use government, because change via government fiat doesn’t work.

That’s your game, lefty louie.

Did I say azzhole?

I don’t think you realize who you’re talking to, so let me clarify my positions:  I’m an anarcho-capitalist.  So from my vantage point, you’re the lefty louie.

O Rly?

A “license-broker”.  As in:  any form of human licentiousness is fine because who the hell is anybody to say anything anywhere is wrong?

That would also go for ..... um....liquidat-dismember-consanguinating the bodies of the unborn?  Ooooh!  How “anarcho” of y’all!!

Think stickin’ the “capitalist” in there is fooling anyone?  It isn’t.

No. Thanks.

L’il reminder:  FN.  Carbine.

The organizations that you point to are not focused on the kind of heart changes that I am referring to. The heart changes that I refer to come from the transforming power of The Gospel Message.

I do think that the organizations that you referenced are good, but they are not the answer.

The same is true with our political system. Because we live in a representative democracy, the laws are written and approved by the majority. We could lose the battle for the hearts of the American people concerning these issues. If that happens they will have the right (by way of constitutional authority) to enact or change laws that we deem to be counter to our beliefs.

And there will be nothing that we can do about it.

I think the word you want is “church”, jaybo. That would be an organization “focused on the kind of heart changes” that you want.

Churches are good, but we still need laws that protect people from rape and robbery.

We also need laws to protect unborn children.

If you don’t agree with that then the term you will want for yourself is “pro-choice”.

I will give the boy communist the same level of support and respect that the Democrats have given President Bush the last 8 years.

Anarcho-capitalism (also known as free-market anarchism)[1] is an individualist anarchist[2] political philosophy that advocates the elimination of the state and the provision of security from aggression against person and property by the private sector in a free market. In an anarcho-capitalist society, law enforcement, courts, and all other security services would be provided by voluntarily-funded competitors rather than through compulsory taxation. Personal and economic activities would not be politically regulated, because the natural laws of the market – rather than politics – would order society.

So, Saffire, you want to live in an 80s sci-fi movie?

I guess that we will have to “agree to disagree” on this issue.

However, to proclaim that I am “pro-choice” simply because I say that the constitution is subject to the majority is puzzling to me. All I am doing is simply stating a well known fact.

Finally, any and all laws are ultimately subject to the will of the majority in this country. Therefore it is solely dependent on the morals and world view of the citizens of this country. No law can change that simple fact.

If you are not A Christian I can understand why you disagree. If you are a Christian, I suggest that you join in with other Christians that are trying to change hearts first.

I think that Mike Huckabee explains well the dependence of our form of government to sound moral foundations. Ignore this simple truth at your own risk......

So, Saffire, you want to live in an 80s sci-fi movie?

Do you often consult fictional movies to better understand how the world works?

The simple fact is you have just as much faith in the State as a dreaded Democrat does.  You are a liberal.

I’m sorry you’ve chosen to take offense, jaybo.

I’ve not been profane; I’ve been using vulgarity.  You ought to know the difference.

I’m in full control of my words and though I am angry, what you interpret as a loss of control is a display of that anger.

Lastly, that was not a polite request.  It was a demand to adhere to your standards, on a site not your own, and some of it in big red letters, without an explanation.

However, to proclaim that I am “pro-choice” simply because I say that the constitution is subject to the majority is puzzling to me. All I am doing is simply stating a well known fact.

Jaybo, you are becoming frustrating. That is absolutely not what I said. Let me try to explain this to you again. It is Roe v. Wade that removed the issue of life from the democratic process.  If Roe was gone, then we could debate and vote on the issue of protecting the unborn. It would be majority rule through the legislatures and referendums. OR, we could do a constitutional amendment to protect the right to life. This would require 2/3 of the states to ratify. Both of those processes are majority rule and then some.

The reason I call you pro-choice is because you seem to be saying that we should NOT outlaw the killing of unborn children. If you think the government should have no role in protecting the unborn, then you are by definition pro-choice. Look it up.

You do both, jaybo. You change hearts but you also advocate and campaign to change laws.

I think that Mike Huckabee explains well the dependence of our form of government to sound moral foundations. Ignore this simple truth at your own risk......

Mike Huckabee also supports the Right to Life Amendment and overturning Roe v. Wade.

You’re the one who wants to live in a world that resembles “Robocop”. You’re the moron who calls himself an “Anarcho-capitalist”, probably because it sounds cool. I can’t take you seriously and I doubt anyone else here will either. Grow up and pick a philosophy based on something remotely related to the real world.

Maybe even cut your hair and get a job.
