Rocketman was on Patsy’s yesterday if I recall correctly.
A few seconds ago, one of Wrapper’s thread disappeared as I was going from page 2 to page three of it. A sure “what the heck?” moment.
That would be due to a comment he made to the soon to be VP.
I ain’t repeating it, but it was way over the line IMHO, but if they got him for that, well deserved.
Ouch.
I’d wondered if something like that was coming. He’d completely changed his posting style in the last week or so which is generally a bad sign for a forumite’s mental state.
Speaking from experience, stepping away from a forum for a few days or weeks to regain your equilibrium is a better option than having a meltdown (whether large or small).

He may well be PLB’s first Palin Derangement Syndrom(PDS) victim.
I’m a little surprised by it if wrapper was deleted. He made a pretty foul post last night. It was vulgar but not profane. It seems to me that a stern warning was in order, not banishment.
I’m quite surpised by the banishment of Micadelic, because I thought he was a constructive contributor. His reaction to the slanderous post of Manhattan was understandable. Manhattan should have been banned, and at worst, Micadelic should have been warned.

Honestly, I haven’t gotten around to reading what Manhattan said.
If it were that bad, hasn’t someone even yet bothered to report the post to a moderator?
I guess ill never understand the moderators here, ban a poster, fine thats understandable, happens at every forum out there from time to time. But to delete every thread they ever started and every single post they ever made is insane.
Also some of the things people get banned for while other far more vile people are allowed to keep doing even after being reported is mind boggling. We have several conservative posters who like to post the most vile and disgusting pictures from time to time and nothing is done. I find those things just as objectionable as the things some of the idiot liberal posters write here.

Joined 2008-09-05 And it’s so very cute how the Right is “energized” by a prettier vessel to deliver Scully’s words. “Thanks but no thanks” to Congress when in all actually she was for the bridge project, and rescinded when McCain and Congress said “Thanks but no thanks”. And to clarify, it may have been a bridge to a town of 50, it was a bridge from a town of 15,000, which is my hometown of Ketchikan
You missed that the proper way to deal with a retread troll is to report him to the moderator rather than taking it upon himself to use somewhat vulgar language to make a response.
So all you need to do is say something that could be interpreted as untoward, regardless of context, have some snitch mail a complaint and you are gone; right? In basketball it is not the one who commits the foul but the response that draws the whistle.

The “PL Forum Town Hall” should have a bulletin board with a list of the banned and the post that earned it.
At this forum everyone knows everyone else, this is a community, and to have a member of the community disappeared is much too reminiscent of life in controlled states (fascists and communists), something should be instituted to eliminate that perception.

Good idea, not sure it would be implemented. One aside against it is that it would possibly turn into a wall of honor for the worst..... just my 1.5 cents.....
