Sort of a slow-motion paean to the Big Bang Theory.

You remember the “Big Bang Theory?” It goes like this…

First there was nothing.  Then it exploded…

Could someone explain to me how an imcomplete understanding of the beginnings of the universe has anything to do with the Cambrian Explosion?

You’re not a good person.  You know that, right?  Good people don’t end up here.

Sounds to me like it fits-in reasonably well with Gould’s Punctuated Equilibrium.

(Although I rather disagree with Gould when it comes to Politics and Baseball, his thoughts on evolution and biology (Ontogeny & Phylogeny was daring and thought-provoking..) are really very, very good.)

Nothing.  And it’s not worth debating.  Concepts revolving around faith vs. those revolving around science can’t be debated.  It’s like asking whether the best produce comes from Del Monte, or Chevrolet.

LOL. Nice line, “FITG”.

BTW, the right answer is ...
