Mr Ramsay said he had already spoken to Prime Minister Gordon Brown about outlawing out-of-season produce.

There’s a difference between encouraging people to buy locally-grown food and banning out-of-season produce by law. I shop at the farmer’s market for the simple reason that the stuff tastes better, like my backyard tomatoes. But I also like to splurge on South American raspberries in February.

Bingo.  And there you have it.

And I still want to know if this supercillious twit drinks either tea or coffee.
