Eighteen months ago, I relieved myself in Karl Rove’s Cheerios on the morning of a resounding Democratic victory in Congress. It was a great relief because a lot of pent up distress was finally done.

Last year in Las Vegas, the [YearlyKos] conference attracted 1,200 participants, including current Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.), Sen. Barbara Boxer (Calif.) and retired Army Gen. Wesley K. Clark. This year at the McCormick Place Convention Center near downtown Chicago, more than 1,500 participants are expected, including the entire Democratic congressional leadership and all the Democratic presidential candidates.
Tomorrow, on the convention’s busiest day, an “Ask the Leaders” forum in the morning will feature Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.), Rep. Rahm Emanuel (Ill.), who heads the House Democratic Caucus, and Sen. Charles E. Schumer (N.Y.), chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Later in the afternoon, a panel with the Democratic candidates promises to be the highlight of the convention, with Clinton, not exactly the favorite of the progressive crowd, and the rest of the presidential field taking questions.
“Look, the fact all the major presidential candidates are attending means that the Net roots, in a very short time, has earned its seat on the big table,” said Simon Rosenberg, founder of the New Democrat Network, which serves as a bridge between centrist Democrats and progressive bloggers.

Interestingly enough the only ‘deep thoughts’ that seem to emanate from the Kos crowd are always replete with scatological references. That fact that the Dems want to ingratiate themselves with this group is beyond comprehension. I’ve looked at their daily logs before, some truely demented individuals post there.
There is an old saying that it is better to remain quiet and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. I can think of no better description of this (insert adjective of your choice here) from Daily Kos. They think that this is the rhetoric that will sway the masses to them? That the way to political success is by pelting the opposition with human waste rather than by engaging in a debate of ideas?
Sadly, this is what constitutes the base of the Democratic Party. It gives one pause to reflect what ills will befall our nation if the Democrats gain control of both Congress and the Presidency and then have to pay homage to this manifestation of hatred.
Interestingly enough the only ‘deep thoughts’ that seem to emanate from the Kos crowd are always replete with scatological references. That fact that the Dems want to ingratiate themselves with this group is beyond comprehension. I’ve looked at their daily logs before, some truely demented individuals post there.
I don’t think I’ve ever visited the site. Didn’t Barack Obama post there regularly once upon a time?

Yes, Obama did post there as a ‘contributor’, so have, current Democratic office holders: Boxer, Conyers, Harkin, Ted Kennedy, Pelosi, Reid and Richardson among others too many to list here without puking on my keyboard. At one time Kerry, posted there, but to his credit, he removed the links to his blog after the Kozlosers revelry and mirth at the deaths and mutilations of the Blackwater contractors at Fallujah. The collective IQ level at this site hovers under the triple digit figure...in enlightened circles, they would be known as ‘Category Fours’.

See, I just knew that given enough time and thoughtful consideration of the valid points made on a daily basis by conservatives here on PL, it was only a matter of time before liberals in general and Wrapper in particular, would come to their senses and realize the error of their ways.

Recently there was a post on Kos lamenting how BHO had been away from posting there longer than the time that he boycotted Fox News.
This kind of base hatred from the Left is closer to the reins of power in this country than is safe or acceptable. All the evidence one needs to draw such a conclusion is the fact that the entire body of congressional Democrat’s is expected to attend the loon-fest.
Most of those congressional Democrats are simply paying homage to a constituency. But that constituency is wielding increasing power and influence, and has begun to populate the party itself.
America cannot afford to have one of only two major political parties populated by these immature, petulant haters. All they care about is their hate, and achieving their desired results.
These are the kind of people that will indiscriminately throw precedent and tradition out the window, and do whatever is necessary to bring about their version of society. I believe they would, in a nanosecond if enough power was achieved, silence opposition, confiscate private property, censor media, commandeer private industry, and forceably enact whatever version of social engineering the elite du jour happens to see fit.
The extreme Left is becoming increasingly interwoven with the Democrat party. This must be stopped, one way or another, or the American Dream will cease to exist, and will be replaced by the vision of haters with the emotional maturity of teenagers.

“manifestation of hatred.” This is what the party of democrats have done for the Country. They are beholden to the monster they created which is nothing more than a reflection of themselves. What democrats do is worse than molesting a child sexualy, they molest the entire being mentally every day of their life. They do it with a smile on their face because they can , it’s not against the law. Doesn’t make it right but then again when have democrats ever put doing what is right before their own sick political agenda?
They are incapable. It’s would be equivalent to a vampire after a night of deep reflection not having sucked a person dry, rather than crawling into it’s dark sactuary willingly steps out into the morning sunlight. Democrats are like vampires and only wish to create more like themselves.

The culmination of Ronald Reagan’s dream has been fulfilled in the Presidency of Bush/Rove/Cheney.
The economy stinks. Gas prices have doubled and tripled. Wages have stagnated. We are losing jobs overseas. The Congress is broken.
This is Ronald Reagan’s America. Now that folks have seen it, they don’t like it.
It’s true that those who hate government should not be in government. Reagan taught us that government was bad. The government we have now is Ronald Reagan’s dream come true.
