Yesterday Barack Obama said that John McCain was “losing his bearings,” a remark that McCain’s campaign, perhaps protesting too much, took as a ref

Not only is Barack a Marxist and a bigot, he’s an effing idiot. 57 states? Well, since he wasn’t educated in America, how would he know?

Wasn’t Pearl Harbor a State when the Germans bombed it during the Civil War in 1812?

And Obama claims that McCain has lost his bearings.  Truly the audacity of a dope.

Dan Quayle’s “potatoe” misspelling did not mean that he was stupid, but rather that he was educated in a government school. In my family, parochial school attendees spell with few, if any, errors. Those who attended government, or public, schools misspell common English words.

I had noticed for some time that newspapers printed many staff spelling errors. (Computerized spell checkers appear to have reduced errors in recent years.) The “potatoe” fuss led me to compile and document lists of spelling errors, from the AP, various newspapers, and TV news. Here’s a list of spelling errors I culled from the New York Times, which most national journalists would have read,. Most errors were made in the year following “potatoe”:

Ascerbic, acerbicly, giving them advise, allegience, alter for altar, annointed, Ashville, beggers, burgandy, social calender, canvas for canvass, Capitol for Capital, chisled features, coddling moth, compatable, complemented for complimented, complimented for complemented, contract extention, cruicial, curriculums vitae, rather than the consistent curricula vitae, defendent, descendent, desparately, Diosese, disasterous, discernable, discrepency, dissention, duplicitious, epigramatic, eratic, in essense, Expatriots Enticed Back, flare for flair, Fullbright for Fulbright, gardner for gardener, gutteral, hanger for hangar, [Vincent Foster was] a longtime confident and law partner of Hillary Rodham Clinton, Harlan Matthews is a confidante, hoards of reporters, horde for hoard, idiosynchratic, inadvertant, irrelevent, kibutz [intended for kibitz, not kibbutz], Ted Koppell, laudibly, masters candidate rather than master’s, McNeil-Lehrer, migrane, Napolean, nerve-wracking, occassionally, opponants, past for passed, peak for peek, pecadillos, Penetentiary, perogatives, perseverence, pouring for poring, pretention, principle for principal, principal for principle, publically (the only AP reference in this list, but appearing in The Times), quintissential, recruitor, free reign, reign on inventory, repellant, resistent, rhinocerous, roomate, San Fransisco, a seemy stretch of dirt-encrusted tenements, under seige, sqaller [a bit distant from squalor, but that’s the intended word], stationary for stationery, statuatory controls, in dire straights, strategem, sulpher dioxide, superintendant, supervisers, supress, Tazmanian Devil, typography for topography, wisened for wizened, and wretch for retch.

Journalists and others who mocked Quayle either could not spell well themselves or were partisans who chose to blame “potatoe” on Quayle and not the instructional methods that made so many Americans poor spellers, including Quayle and many journalists, as readers of the Times should have noticed.

MCain is in fact stupid, a condition that hasn’t mattered much until now.

At his age, it’s hard anyway to tell the difference between memory loss, loss of processing speed, and stupidity.  Except for his life-long demerits in the stupid column.

I’m willing to cut the “O-Kid” some slack because Florida and Michigan are not really in play (leaving 48) and chalk up that comment to campaign exhaustion.  Having said that, I wonder how the Kid is going to hold up to the stress of four years as the leader of the free world.  Now that gives me some reason to be concerned.

We are living longer, staying healthier and more fit & vital longer compared to the past. Today’s 70 somethings are the new 60s, the 60s the new 50s, etc. This is how McCain should handle the age issue.

Give him a break.  Obama was speaking about the other seven of our states - Baja California Norte, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, and Sineloa.

The Liberal MSM almost never attributes bigotry or ignorance to Liberals.

If Al Gore doesn’t recognize the founders of our country in paintings no matter.  The people in the MSM probably don’t know the who they are either.

If Robert Byrd uses the word “n*****,” the MSM pays this no never mind because he’s a Liberal and they know his heart is in the right place.

The treatment Hillary is receiving is meant to be a warning to John McCain.  Practically everything she or her supporters say is labelled as racist.  McCain can look forward to worse treatment.

Not that she and Bill haven’t played the race card from time to time.  They just haven’t done it anywhere nearly as much as the Obama crowd claims.

I, too, am willing to chalk it up to campaign exhaustion. However, if he utters one--effing--word--about any such slip McCain makes--

it’s OUT WITH THE KNIVES.

Senator Clinton, if you had known then what you know now, would you still have married Bill?

That was probably the LAST time that Mr. Quayle listened to a Secret Service Agent who whispered in his ear.

Obambi has himself opened a can of worms - worms that will savor what’s left of him after the General Election.

It’s too bad that Ronald Reagan already used up the “youth” rejoinder in his debate with MonDull once upon a time, but there’s a MILLION “inexperienced, empty suit” comments just begging to be tossed out there.

Nov. 4, 2008: The Day The Music Died.

“Bye-bye, miss American pie.”

Oh, and as I watched him on the stage
My hands were clenched in fists of rage.
No angel born in Hell
Could break that Satan’s spell.
And as the flames climbed high into the night
To light the sacrificial rite,
I saw Satan laughing with delight
The day the music died.

Any gaff, screw-up, mistake or error made by “osama” obama that is brought out by McCain or the Republicans will be immediately attacked as racist by both “osama” obama and the MSM.

When Bush spoke at Bob Jones University during the 2000 campaign, he was immediately labeled a racist.  Yet, “osama” obama spent 20 years in a racist, hate-filled “church” and the MSM attacked, not “osama” obama, but those who brought the information to the forefront.  Then “osama” obama jumped in, blaming those who questioned his relationship with wright as being racist.  Not one time has “osama” obama apologized for his 20 years soaking up the bigotry and hate from wright’s “sermons”.

Yes, Republicans, a few hours at a university such as Bob Jones is enough to bring out the racist label, but for a extreme leftist with 20 years of bigotry and hatred, that is acceptable.

The question that remains unasked and unanswered is: How long has the MSM been aware of the “sermons” and writings of wright before the information was published on the internet?  I’d suggest that the MSM has been well aware of wright’s “sermons” since before “osama” obama gave his speech at the dnc convention in 2004, but deliberately chose to hide this information to protect the “osama” obama “image”.

Charlie is correct. Obama is an effing idiot. Even an affirmative action pimp would know that there are 49 states. Mass is still part of the USSR.

OK, now I understand...here is how a devout Obamessiahian explained his comments to me:

“He’s talking about the States AND the U.S. Territories and Outlying Areas:

* American Samoa
* Federated States of Micronesia
* Guam
* Midway Islands
* Puerto Rico
* U.S. Virgin Islands”

HUH????

Interestingly, the YouTube video is “no longer available.”

I wonder what happened?
