There are plenty of stupid white fundie pastors, and they do get condemned when they say stupid things. I doubt anyone really believes they have the influence over McCain that Wright has over Obama. And Wright’s spewings really are a unique matter: he blames “white Americas” for every ill in the world, and even lies to his congregants (AIDS). Obama wrote in his book of the incident involving his Grandmother, which he now mischaracterizes. According to said book, she feared one black panhandler in particular, who harrassed her just short of a mugging at a bus-stop.
One person. Whose actions made her fearful.

Just curious, but what does Obama want to do to rectify America’s horrible racial situation? Here we have Obama, who has become a millionaire after only a few short years in the US Senate, along with his wife, who earns a base salary of $350k per year as a PR person for a univeristy run hospital, living in a mansion in Hyde Park, wailing away at how mean, awful and racist a country America is in 2008. My heart bleeds for them both; a bleeding liberal heart bleeding for these two children of Africa who are so horribly and meanly treated by all these evil white racists running loose in America. Surely they would have a better life in Kenya or Indonesia, or any other third world hell hole.
Wow. America sounds like a truly terrible place, what with all those millions of illegal immigrants (most of whom aren’t white) trapped here, unable to complete their journey to Sweden; America, where the average black public housing resident has a higher standard of living than the average German; what exactly does Obama want to do?
Oh, wait! I know! He wants to raise taxes and punish those who work hard and are successful, so he can take their money and give it to the “oppressed”. The “masses” who need free health care, free education, free transportation, free housing, free tatoos, free piercings, free personal care products. Everything must be free for the oppressed. To hell with getting an education, learning a trade, working hard, waiting to have a family until one can support a family; that all requires too much hard work and besides, that plan sounds too “white”.
