Just as the most common phrase before dying is “oh s@#t!”, the most common phrase from either party before getting their @$$ kicked in an election is “I don’t think it’s going to significantly impact the rest of the nation either way.”

The Dems sure didn’t say that in 2004, and if the Reps said it in 2006 they’re less intelligent than I give them credit for.

The Dems very well were saying it back in the mid 90’s, as were the Republicans before 2006.

Well, I heard neither. The blow the Dems felt in 1994 was severe and we knew it.

I meant before, as in the year or two previous.  A special election here, a governor there.  A long term whatever switching to what is then, the minority party.

Not making any predictions or anything.

Just sayin’

I have been reading about Bobby Jindal for quite some time over at Michelle Malkin’s site. I am thrilled that he won. Now, if they can get rid of a few more of their politicians, maybe the state can make a comeback.

I’ve never heard of this guy. Some of the libs are saying he’s a Democrat in Republican clothing...what does Michelle say about him??

Here are a couple of her posts about him.

Thanks, Susan.  The latter of those two posts by Michelle explains a lot of the smoke being blown by the ‘liberals’.

Bobby Jindal received the support of many Democrats officials in LA, especially because of his piece on his Christian beliefs, and this, to the lying, projecting left, is a sign of perfidy.

It is, however, heartening to know there are still Democrats who are unashamed to profess their faith.

Curious that the same mouths that are always complaining about ‘partisanship’ are the first to cast suspicion at its obvious absence.

Pandora, as usual, misses the most important factor in Jindal’s victory, which is the continuing re-alignment of the South to the Republican party. The Dems have veered so far to the extremist left that there is nowhere else for this part of the country to go but to the Republicans. The repercussions have affected politics even at the local level. A Republican Louisiana Governor would have been unthinkable during my youth.

Pandora, as usual, misses nothing.

The re-alignment of the South to the Republican party is a figment of your imagination.

So many of the lefists from California and the Northeast have moved their collectivist asses down here that we’re rapidly becoming little New York and the hijabs are cropping up like kudzu.

Pandora, as usual, resorts to bias and personal beliefs instead of looking at the facts. Louisiana has been a very strong Democrat state until recently. Texas has also turned from a Southern Democrat stronghold to Republican domination at almost every level of government.

By the way, weren’t you supposed to be ignoring me? FOAD! Right back at ya.
