It’s a moral question. Like…

If your son was a child molester, wouldn’t you still want him to lose (by getting caught)?

A lot of people feel a war waged for greed and not defense is immoral and unamerican. For this administration’s war (it’s not America’s war, most Americans are opposed to it) to have to withdraw would be a case of justice, goodness, and God prevailing.

Congratulations Marko!

You are the first MORON on here to ADMIT that you want us to lose!

If by “us” you mean immoral, evil corrupt politicians who tricked America into this mess in Iraq, which is a distraction from fighting terrorism, (as 70% of American knows), well what honest American wouldn’t want us to stop.

You’re part of the immoral minority.

If your son was a child molester, would you help him feed his obsession?

isn’t kinda interesting that the best the left has to offer here is often guys like marko?

Mr Lynch’s thesis is laughable, just plain stupid.

Honestly, is this best you guys can do in defending yourselves?

You all do the same pathetic thing. When you can’t defend your position you make personal attacks instead. Grow up. This isn’t about me. It’s about how the Right wing dead-enders are out of step with most of America on the validity of the Iraq occupation.

This one strikes me as a just war.  The enemy is certainly evil and destructive, we’re fighting for the self-determination of the Iraqi people, and as for “profits to friends” you know the French and Turks get oil contracts from the Ministry of Oil despite opposing the war?

If your son was a pediatrician, would you smear him as a child molestor?

this isn’t a question of who’s right or wrong. It’s how people feel and what they believe from the evidence they’ve seen and heard.

oh sure, and we’re just moneygrubbing propagandist sheep from whom Christ has turned His face.  Nothing judgemental about it.

I don’t know who will win this election. I do know it should end with a Rod Serling quip.

The most surprising thing in this poll is that 19% number.  I am flabbergasted that it is so low!

I agree. Either the pollees lied or the figures have been reversed.

Democrats fawned over the Soviet Union.

Democrats swoon when Castro is mentioned.

Democrats glow with support for North Korea.

Democrats rush to hold Hugo’s hand.

But I don’t question their patriotism.  They are patriots.  They’re just adamantly opposed to freedom, liberty, and the American way.  Their actions are completely consistent with their ideology.

Maybe you are suicidal, but most of us aren’t. And the reasons you cited - greed - is nowhere in the lexicon of those who are fighting against terrorism.

Of course not. That’s what’s got the country so upset. Bush isn’t fighting terrorism, he’s making money (our tax money) for his political buddies in Iraq.

Marko, you are quite possibly the most ignorant fool I have ever had to hear from. The stupidity flows from your fingers so rapidly and without effort, I’m sure your parents mistook it for a gift.

Don’t be so childish. This is why most Americans feel we should get out of Iraq. YOU DO KNOW MOST AMERICANS, LIKE 70% OF US, WANT THE U.S. TO LEAVE IRAQ DON’T YOU?

I’m just explaining what most everyone believes.

I know you don’t feel that way. And I know you need to call people who disagree with you names. It’s part of who you are.

Don’t be childish? From you? Who tells bald-faced lies, and believes nonsense about that Bush started the war (first lie) to make his friends rich (second lie)… now that is rich.

When I say it’s not a question of right or wrong, I mean this discussion. We aren’t going to get to the bottom of that here. I do think this is a great opportunity for some people on PL to understand why so many Americans disagree with them about Iraq. And to acknowledge that they can at least understand why so many people could disagree with them.

And I don’t think you’re making anything from this war. I think you’ve been duped by those who are.

Isn’t it odd how well Blackwater, Halliburton, KBR and all the rest of the Republican contributers to the Bush campaigns have done from this war, while we ignore the people responsible for 9/11?

This is how a great many Americans feel. And you must admit it’s an obstacle to Americans “getting on board” with this occupation.

You’re part of the immoral minority.

Statements like these are why we have every right and every reason to question your patriotism!
None of your drivel is true about this war and no real American would ever think the stuff you say.
You, Marktardo, are one of the ones who’s part of the immoral minority and a minority it is indeed.
If treason is akin to having a son who’s a child molester, I’d help send both of you to prison.

Again, this isn’t a question of who’s right or wrong. It’s how people feel and what they believe from the evidence they’ve seen and heard. And before you blame the “Liberal Media”, most people just don’t trust Bush and Cheney. They’ve done more to make people leery of the motives behind this war than anyone else.

It is a question of who’s right and who’s wrong. The Left, as always, is very, very wrong.

The evidence you’ve seen and heard is all bullshit. And infantile liberals like you selectively listen to the worst bullshit of all.

Fewer people trust Democrats. Their anti-American motives are the most clear of all!

to have to withdraw would be a case of justice, goodness, and Allah prevailing.

Fixed.

Do you think Jesus “backs” any war?

Yes.

Yes.

So do I.
Especially in this war where Christians and Jews are targeted, murdered and beheaded.
This is a war of Good against Evil. God against Satan.

Funny, according to the latest poll: “A majority, 60 percent, oppose cutting off funds to end Iraq war”

Don’t be childish? From you? Who tells bald-faced lies, and believes nonsense about that Bush started the war (first lie) to make his friends rich (second lie)… now that is rich.

Bush did order our troops to invade Iraq. Not the other way around.
Bush did start this war.

On the other point we can go back and forth and waste a lot of time. All I’m saying is most Americans feel the action taken in Iraq were a mistake. And to a large degree because of the facts they see.

1) Bush ignored Osama
2) Republican companies are making a killing (financially) in Iraq and don’t ever want it to end
3) Bush came up with various reasons for invading Iraq, all of them turned out to be false
4) Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11
5) more stuff you’ve already heard and can’t let yourself believe.

The point here is that a great many Americans feel this is the way it is.

Not so funny, most people oppose amputation as a treatment for a broken arm. But still most people want it “fixed”.
