I’ll take that as you not understanding my question.

Well then maybe you should try asking it a different way, mr. cryptic.

Well, the charges he plead to aren’t any more legally serious than a DUI. Even less, I suppose.

If he were innocent, he should have plead not guilty and hired a good lawyer. Instead, the path he chose led him to his odd press conference yesterday that didn’t help him at all.

Midemeanor disorderly conduct.  Small potatoes compared to Patrick Kennedy and his DWI, his resisting arrest, and his drug abuse charges.  What about Unca Teddy and his negligent homicide which was never charged, but publicly apologized about?  There’s gotta be at least 25—probably more—sitting Democrats in Congress with rap sheets much worse than Craig’s misdemeanor.

“At least 25--probably more”??  Hey, if you say so, Grey Ghost!
But the Dems don’t flaunt their self-righteousness the way the Repugs do, and that’s what brings out all the catcalls in a case like Craig’s.

It’s been my experience that Republicans usually do the honorable thing.... after they’ve been caught.

And Mr. Impeachbush, so you are a liberal because the Republicans are too sanctimonious for you?  The sine qua non of liberal politics is being morally superior to everyone else.  It’s their most aggravating quality, IMHO.

If only it were that complicated.  No, Peachy just isn’t interested in mental gymnastics...it makes his brain hurt.  Liberalism, as R. Limbaugh has pointed out on so many occasions is the most purely gutless choice one can take in life...it is the path of least resistance along which intentions are valued more than results and where feelings always trump reason.  It gives Peachy a nice warm, wet feeling.

No, they don’t. Instead they proudly display their perverstites and criminality...they get promoted to leadership and reelectged time and again. Tell me, in a moral party would trash like Alcie Hastings of Barney Franks ever stay in office?

One Of THE ...

Most annoying qualities of Republicans is their willingness to throw their brethren under the bus in an effort to maintain a prim and proper appearance.

It really gets old.

Senator Craig’s constituents, or he himself, should decide if he remains in office - no one else.  Those looking for infallibility are looking in the wrong places.

Nov. 4, 2008: The Day The Music Died.

“Bye-bye, miss American pie.”

Oh, and as I watched him on the stage
My hands were clenched in fists of rage.
No angel born in Hell
Could break that Satan’s spell.
And as the flames climbed high into the night
To light the sacrificial rite,
I saw Satan laughing with delight
The day the music died.

LOL.

The honorable thing here, of course if for Craig to resign.  RFN.  He’s a disgrace. We don’t need creeps like him in office.

If you want to be the most popular person in your class, whenever the professor pauses in his lecture, just let out a big snort and say “How do you figger that!” real loud. Then lean back and sort of smirk.
