Frankly, all this recent talk of “Democrats supported surge” sounds like liberal revisionist horse manure.

With the exception of the initial joint resolution to take down Saddam, WHEN have the Democrats ever SUPPORTED President Bush or the Department of Defense on Iraq?

Did Reid express his support just after, or was it right before “The War Is Lost!” I HEARD CUT AND RUN, I DID NOT HEAR Democrat support the surge.

Isn’t it a sad state of affairs when you cannot trust a reputable paper like the LA Times anymore?

I lived in LA from ‘85 until ‘97, and I didn’t trust the Times then.  Apart from a good sports section, the Times has been little more than a reliable propaganda organ for the Hard Left for a very long time.  They don’t call it “the LA Pravda” for nothing.

I read this article earlier today.  Notice how it is spun as “conflict between military leaders”.  No doubt we’ll hear Raptavio & others weighing-in with conspiracy-theories about how Bush ‘got-to” Pace & forced him to change his recommendation.  It will be completly beyond any possibility that the story was just wrong to begin with, or was even the product of wishful thinking by some Lefty reporter.
