As Bill Kristol wondered, why would Rove leave just as General Petreaus is going to present his report?  Couldn’t he wait another 2-4 weeks?

Perhaps, there is more to this then meets the eye.

An honest media would have quickly brought an end to these mindless attacks on Karl Rove, but as we see day in and day out, the msm is far from honest, it is a lap dog of the dnc and any other group that is anti-US.

Class, Dignity, Honor, Integrity, etc. are the characteristics that one should use when referring to Karl Rove.  These terms have been ridiculed and toss aside by the msm for terms such as Distortions, Lies and Smears.  Facts be damned, its the insinuation that matters to the left.

As TheEnigma so well pointed out, “Class, Dignity, Honor, Integrity, etc. are the characteristics that one should use when referring to Karl Rove.”

Democrats never needed a reason to hate Republicans. With the ongoing success in Iraq, it grows exceedingly difficult for Democrats to score political points by using the war as they have these many years.

The light will shine more brightly on Democrats in the absence of Mr. Rove.

The new WH Chief of Staff, Bolton, has told the Presidents Staff, if they are there past labor day 07, they will be there to the end.

Tony Snow has just said, Rove, will not work directly with any of the Presidential Candidates…

Hopefully this will help restore some credibility to the White House. Karl is a genious, but his winning strategy was based purely on division. Pitting each side against the other in a viscious ideological battle where no one is willing to compromise.

I personally hope that he gets slapped with some Hatch Act violations. He clearly has been using the White House as a political arm of the RNC. That is a no no.

He is also the mastermind behind the infiltration of the DOJ with ‘right thinkers’ or DA’s willing to play dirty politics with elections. He should be slapped with conspiracy to undermine the Justice Department for his outrageouosly criminal Dec. 7th firings of State Attorney’s, for no reason, for political reason, for bad performance, for good performance, or whatever the reason he have for using the Patriot Act to circumvent the normal appointment process.

Oh, far be it from any Democrat president to use the office of the President in a political manner!  I’m sure that’s never happened.

And far be it from any Democrat president to appoint people who agree with him politically, right?

And most assuredly, far be it from any Democrat president to point out where he differs from his political opponents, right?

April, you must have SUCH blinders on to post stuff like this.

LOL. Uh, yeah. What meets the eye here is that Kristol has no inside White House sources to tell him what’s up.

Get a grip.

I’m still trying to figure out what Rove ever did that was so great.  Bush won by 3% in 2004 when he should have won by 12%.  Bush barely won in 2000 when he was running against a total psych case.

I like Rove, but I cannot figure out anything he has ever done to warrant the “genius” assessments.

I wish you morons would learn how to “quote” properly. If the tags confuse you don’t use them.

Confirmed: Bad news from Iraq makes liberals giddy, good news from Iraq is bad for Democrats.

What planet do you live on? Winning an election with 80% of MSM, 90% of academia and 95% of The Entertainment Industry against you was a bloody miracle. In fact likely divinely inspired.

I wonder if he just got tired of having to wade through the “realists” to get to the President.  They’re pretty much surrounding the President now.

LOL.  What happened with the Senate’s surrender of sovereignty bill showed what the feelings are in America and how little effect all 3 of the above actually have.  And, interestingly, your genius pal Rove was on the LOSING SIDE, even with all the help that you think made his work in ‘04 such “genius”.

A 3% win over John Kerry ...  A tie with Al Gore ... divinely inspired ...

I’m still laughing.

One wonders what the Democrats will do for fun now that Rove is leaving. While not being able to govern very effectively, the Dems are adept at creating a negative personae for anyone whom they think such a construct would help destroy, e.g., President Bush.

The Dems can count absolutely on the MSM to be a megaphone for any wild concoction they come up with. The results are then measured against the polls which conveniently lets the Dems know how they’re doing. The problem is that they are running out of old Bush friends to try to demonize. About the only one left is Alberto Gonzales and seem to be getting nowhere with that.

The Dems are also good at creating positive images with the same destructive intent. Case in point is Colin Powell. Powell’s image is now that of the brave soldier (which he once was) who will not go along with the White House under any circumstances re the GWAT.

It’ll be interesting to see who next gets dragged before the star chambers of Leahy and Levin. Listen to Shumer for hints.

Well I would just take a wild guess and say Dick Cheney.
