If holocaust denying, playing on the fear of immigration, and outright racism are considered part of the “mainstream” conservative movement, then you have given me another reason to stay as a registered Democrat.

Let’s not mince words here - LePen is a right-wing nutjob, and any self-respecting conservative politician should reject his ideas and his philosophy. He’s like the right-hand version of Al Sharpton, in my opinion.

tsk, tsk, tsk ...

Hypérbolé is the only way you can sustain your argument.

You radical leftists are very good at demanding everyone else place themselves in the role of the victimized, but refuse to do so yourselves.

Just imagine if America were like France today - you know, like how America will be in 20 years or so.  How would you “feel” then?

Or maybe you and yours welcome a takeover of America by Hispanics and Muslims.

Ya.  That’s the ticket.

.

I don’t know if you think you’re funny or if you’re trying to make some kind of twisted point. So the French people who vote for Le Pen are victims ?! They’re anti-semitic (why, because they were oppressed by the Jews?) and downright racists (why, because they were oppressed by immigrants?) Give me a break. Your justification of racism and anti-semitism is as credible as your argument.

I’m sure the Holocaust is viewed differently in Europe, particularly France, where the general populace often aided and abetted the Nazis in locating and rounding up Jews to send to the extermination camps.  I’m sure they prefer to deny the pervasive anti-semitism of their cultures that allowed them to play the roles of collaborators and enablers, especially in their treatment of those who survived the camps and returned home only to be murdered by their former neighbors.  If I had that much blood on my hands, if I’d aided and abetted in the genocide of 5.5 million people, I’d want to deny it, too.

Well said.

rocket: “I guess I need to realllly dumb down my posts for the leftists who see anti-semites everywhere except at their bible - KosKiddies.”

Nice job proving what a world-class hypocrite you are. A while back you posted a thread ("Kos Kiddies Promote Anti-Semitism") highlighting a hateful Kos diary. Never mind that it was an obvious troll diary, posted by someone with essentially no history at Kos, probably someone who was expressly trying to discredit Kos. (Registered members at Kos can easily see the complete history of any other member, and any member can post a diary, just like any member here can start a thread. And anyone can become a member.) Administrators formally tagged it as a troll diary. The diary was recommended by essentially no one (within the Kos diary recommendation system, where popular diaries typically receive hundreds of recommendations, and even moderately successful diaries receive several dozen), and it attracted over five hundred negative comments.

As rap said: “If I posted a Swastika on this forum, it would not mean that John Hinderaker was an anti-Semite. Same holds true for that diarist.”

Meanwhile, you don’t miss an opportunity to promote Holocaust denial. You did so in this thread, here, and you also jumped at a chance to do so, here, in a thread charmingly entitled “Jew Watch.”

Jews vote D because they realize the GOP is full of hypocrites and haters like you.
