Rocket: since you featured The Who on this thread, I wanted to mention that Sirius satellite radio has an all-WHO channel. Just FYI for Who fans. BTW, I still don’t see how anyone could do as good a job as Keith Moon…

I’m pretty sure that I have all of their work on album or CD.
As far as Keith Moon is concerned, I have never ever seen a drummer as animated. He would twirl his sticks (an entire case of which he had attached to his kit) and then bounce them off his drum heads, send them twirling straight up into the air, catch them on the way down, and never miss a beat. Oh man ... still gives me chills.
So, Electra...can we infer that you went through a “psychedelic” period? That album art is after my time, but is reminiscent of the aesthetic of the late 60s. Except then, of course, the posters would glow when you put black light on them.
Actually, no I didn’t. I missed out on all the fun of the 60s and Yes was before my time. By the time I discovered them, they had already morphed into Asia. (Some of them, anyhow.)
I have their CDs today and their sound/lyrics still take me off to “another place.”
“Might be able to get it on E-Bay—or look here at Amazon. Do you like to listen to Tangerine Dream? You would have heard them in Tom Cruise’s Risky Business movie. They did the soundtrack. Their sound is psychological, can’t think of how else to describe them, and isn’t widely known—and definitely, DEFINITELY, isn’t for everyone.”
“Tangerine Dream”? Oh man ... not in years.
“Their sound is psychological ... “ Which is why I have always enjoyed RUSH so much. Most people don’t pay attention to the lyrics, but their’s is a concise sociological study. Fascinating.
